Liz Broderick 
Liz Broderick was formerly partner with law firm Blake Dawson Waldron and has just been appointed the new Sex Discrimination Commissioner. She is an innovator and thought leader in the application of technology to legal practice. She has played a pivotal role in changing the delivery of legal services not just in Australia but internationally. Until February 2006, she was a member of the Board of Blake Dawson Waldron and of the Board of the Prince of Wales Medical Research Institute. In 2001, she was Telstra's NSW Business Woman of the Year and also the 2001 Telstra Australian Business Woman of the Year in the Corporate Category. In 2003 she received a Centenary Medal for Service to Australian Society through Business Leadership.
