1. Prepare, prepare, prepare - this is now a key aspect that I add to everything I undertake re planning, meetings, decision requirements
2. Ask - if you don't ask, you don't get, so I challenge myself to ask for what I want and of course prepare first
3. Risks – what’s the worst thing that can happen - get things in perspective!
4. Goals - what are they - prioritise them and get to work on those strategies to achieve them.
5. Being a confident risk taker.  It was noted in the program about how women tend to counsel and seek acknowledgement or agreement for courses of action they intend to take.  The advice to take action and to stop procrastinating and seeking approval has helped me to win a new customer.
6. Having to give a talk to colleagues at a conference.  Usually this would fill me with intense anxiety but I prepared and practiced and was very satisfied with the outcome.
